Songwriter and Recording artist Findin Why is finding their sound on original music. Findin Why (Kyli is a nickname) is working on releasing their first album and so far it's a blending of different styles of rock. Her song "Will Always" was actually written as a platonic and love song though may not sound like it to the listener. It really depends on the listener and Kyli wrote the lyrics across two days. The second day it took on romantic meaning with a couple of additions to lyrics. Other tracks have the recognizable Findin Why sound and listeners could be reminded of Depeche Mode and sometimes her voice can sound like Susan Vega. Findin Why is eclectic in wanting to follow in many other bands and artist footsteps. For instance she loves performing 90s rock and even classic rock live though the first album works remarkably well if in a chill vibe and other genres will be explored in future releases.
Why Findin Why?
Why the name Findin Why, well ... for so many reasons, too many to list here but Kyli shares about this on her socials. Findin Why, was a singer in a prior band, including a church rockband. Findin Why likes all genres of rock and even sang gospel. Though a hobby of hers previously, Findin Why is now venturing in the music biz full on and runs another business too, plus stays busy with family. Looking to the Future
Findinwhy's debut album Findin Why is scheduled for release Oct/Nov 2023.
Findinwhy hopes to launch her quasi - corporate band (she hopes at least one other band member works at her LLC too) in 2024 while continuing to release 1 EP a yr and has some requests to join a cover band currently. Being in two bands, for now, is an option, one more focused on recording and the other could be more focused on performing. She is also looking to collaborate with other artists on songwriting while also busy running a biz. Findinwhy loves music and singing lyrics that speak to her, like when she’s written them. Findin Why is currently looking for musicians to add to their live line up and to fund the rest of the recording with some help from friends family and new fans.
